If you buy beanspill Pro (the one-time on-device AI-cleanup upgrade) and it isn't for you, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase. We don't ask why. The free, on-device dictation tier never costs anything, so this applies only to the one-time Pro purchase.
Email hello@beanspill.app from the address you used at checkout, with your order or license details. We'll process the refund through Polar, our payment provider. Refunds typically return to your original payment method within a few business days, depending on your bank.
When a refund is issued, the associated Pro license key is revoked and Pro features (AI cleanup) stop unlocking. Your on-device dictation keeps working — it's free and never depended on a license. Nothing on your device is deleted by us; your local history stays yours.
Pro is a one-time payment — there's no subscription and nothing to cancel. You own it on every device. The only way to get your money back is the 7-day refund window above.
Purchases are processed by Polar acting as our Merchant of Record. That means Polar is the seller of record for tax and billing purposes and handles your payment details under their own terms and privacy policy — we never see or store your full card information. Refunds are issued through them.
If something went wrong, please email us first — we'd much rather fix it or refund you directly than have you file a chargeback. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in the license being revoked.
